What Christmas

We are gathered for appropriation of our appreciation of incarnation of

The Light,

Which brings revelation to the Gentiles like us, and in recognition of Him who is the Glory of His people Israel.

It is amazing that many of us are yet to be enlightened by the revelation of our understanding of Christ’s incarnation and its purposes in our devotion to Him.

While millions around the world are gathering around this magnificent Name today, there remain very few who truly are enlightened with the purpose of their celebrative festivity.

A huge delusion through mental assent has replaced itself with the truth behind such a great divine mercy.

May we receive hope in this place today.

As we search the scripture we see this divine act of grace manifested in the natural was a confirmation of God’s awaited promise to Israel as its glory and it became also a light of revelation to the whole world.

Now when the days of purification according to the law of Moses were completed, they brought Him to Jerusalem to present Him to the Lord (as it is written in the law of the Lord “Every male who opens the womb shall be called holy to the Lord”) Behold, there was a main In Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and devout, waiting for theConsolation of Israel, and Holy Spirit was upon him. So he came by the Spirit into the temple, And when they brought Him to him Simeon by the Holy Spirit recognized Him and confirmed to them the validity of this long awaited promise to have been fulfilled in their midst.

This was the tabernacle of God with men.

In holding this child I trust Miriam too being the earthly vessel of God’s glory found herself embracing the incarnation of God’s all promises to Israel and therefore she was comforted in all her afflictions of her soul.

I trust looking at the fruit of her immaculate conception brought laughter to her face. Seeing God’s faithfulness in delivering His promises in the natural I believe brought faith to a new level in her heart. You see I trust though at times she could be stricken by doubt and unbeleif, yet this moment surpassed them all in silencing those voices in her I believe.

This was no ordinary child to her, and it must not be One to you and me.

Here is it where all began.

It is here where our message of hope starts to take strength. A confirmation of God’s intended purposes coming into the physical realities of men’s lives.

Who do men say that I Am?

A questioned many years later asked by Him was and is the major theme for us today?

To the naked eyes He was and is just another birth to celebrate in festivity, yet to the elect it is the fulfillment of all scriptures for redemption of life. Here is where my agony is birthing around these days, when even the so called saints of God who are called to be enlightened by His glory are still seated in the dark, celebrating what they have no inner depth about. As those who heard and saw the babe in the swaddling clothes, yet went away barren, so are some among us today.

While feasting besides His flock we act as those who never known Him at all.

The world could see and sense it’s festive fragrance and stay barren to its hidden truth, but why should you and I be in their midst as the ones who gaze at its magnificence, yet walk absolutely untouched by the inner reality of its spiritual redemptive truth?

“ Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Baal and walk after other gods whom you do not know, and then come and stand before Me in this house which is called by My name and say “ We are delivered to do all these abominations?”

Has this house, which is called by My name, become a den of thieves in your eyes? Behold I even I have seen it says the Lord.

Here is why I too agonize in these so called celebrative festivities, because the One who is much greater than the Temple is in our midst and by our festivities we prove that we have acknowledged Him in our midst, yet do we really seek to live in response to the demands of His incarnate will?

What is this that we are celebrating if not the tabernaceling of God in our midst?

Aren’t we saying by all we do today that God who sees all things is in our midst every day?

Or are we too after being enlightened by Him through grace are ignoring His commands and think we too will escape through sin?

You see brothers and sisters the Israel of God in Jeremiah’s day did not heed the voice of their God and their trust in their temple ended in captivity and death.

Here we have a higher set of spiritual laws through the incarnation of the Messiah and that is to walk in Spirit and to live a life of holiness in submission to the will of the Spirit of God through grace.

He has come to dwell in us through His appearance in the flesh and by His death and resurrection is in our midst so that we have a higher mandate of sovereign obedience than the Old Covenant people.

Apostle Peter in 1 Peter 4:17 & 18 says it this way…. “For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of Godand if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? Now “ If the righteous one is scarcely saved , where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?”

Also the author of the book of Hebrews in chapter 10 verses 5 to 7 by the Holy Spirit ‘s guidance  says about His incarnation this way  “Therefore , when He came into the world , He said:

Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me, In Burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You had no pleasure, Then I said Behold, I have come.. In the volume of the book it is written of Me- to do your will, O God”

Here we are.. The reason why God took the form of flesh and tabernacled with His own was , so that we too being enlightened by His glory become the people of His path in obedience. If the incarnation has any meaning to celebrate is this that we too come to Him with boldness and sincerity of heart and ask Him to impart in us what can bring the fullness of His pleasure in us.

I believe He is asking us to today to bring Him not our carnal festivities of the flesh.

But as obedient Children we need to come to Him to attain the key’s of the Kingdom unto obedience of faith not by Human sacrifices, but in truth and in Spirit presenting ourselves as Living Sacrifices ready to obey His will and to no longer be conformed to the images of this world, but by being renewing of our minds to be conformed to the heavenly Image of our soon coming redeemer and King.

Believing that if we hear His plea today we too will be able to turn from our sin in the strength of His obedience through grace and then it will be a true celebration unto Him.

Yes It is obedience that He is asking from us today and not sacrifices of our sacred assemblies, where His will is completely rejected unto denial.

May His unfathomable mercy through His grace move us unto obedience in these final yet awesome days.

The consumation of our betrothal is approaching vey soon Church and our Bridegroom is on His way to take His bride home and He is coming to meet a chaste virgin.

A virgin bride who’s eyes are like doves eyes gazed upon her beloved bridegroom, and  He is coming at a day and an hour that we are not aware, and the bride must go out with trimmed lamps and extra oil in their vessels to meet Him at midnight.

With this I believe the Holy Scriptures have given us enough signs not to miss the hour of His coming.

It is certain that a midnight hour is soon approaching and only the prepared ones will be ready to enter in after which the unwise would be denied entry.

May you and I be found among the wise  who would be caught up unto His glory.  Happy Incarnation to all.
