The Audacity of Love, That Brings a Song of True Salvation

In the prophetic word of Isaiah chapter 26 there is a song of salvation mentioned that many of us need to have our minds renewed through its truth. Isaiah the prophet declares here that the land of Judah will embrace one day a small group or some remnant that would finally grasp in their hearts the greatness of God’s salvation by living in obedience of it to the end. This renewed thinking is going to make them a strong city, where the unseen enemy no longer can intrude by corrupting their minds. Isaiah says “God will appoint salvation for walls and bulwarks.” Then in verses 2 & 3 he continues to say hic“Open the gates that the righteous nation which keeps the truth may enter in. You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.”
Then Prophet Isaiah continues to say even more about this awesome work of deliverance “Trust in the Lord forever, for in YAH, the Lord is everlasting strength”.
Here again the Old Testament prophet of the Lord in the eyes of the spirit as a true Seer sees the remnant small group of the believers who would remain faithful to their faith by God’s grace unwavering to the principal of obediently continuing in His truth.
Prophet Isaiah declares this awesome understanding of a group of believers in Judah and now in the Church who would continue to remain obedient to the written word and they will this way fulfill the Lord’s words through Apostle Paul in Romans 12:1 and 2. These small group will finally understand in order to stand in the midst of a fierce battle they need to work out their own salvation in fear and Trembling ( Philip. 2:12).Meaning this group of believers finally would understand their salvation is more than a mere confession of faith in Jesus, but a continual obedience to His truth, so that they would continually be delivered from the challenges of life set before them and to be able to remain on the highway of holiness set before them to the end. Although these will be strengthened by the Spirit of the Lord to will and to do His will, but only a holy fear of the Lord can lead them there. Oh yes they no longer should live like the rest of the gentiles in the futility of their minds, but they constantly need to renew their minds.
Now first let us examine a few things before we go further in this text.
First of all what is the meaning of “mind renewal?” and, secondly
Why is “mind renewal” so important?
Now let us examine these Biblical truths.
Romans 12:1-2 tells us that the way we are “transformed,” the way we learn to live Christ’s Life, is by the renewing of our minds – putting off our own negative and corrupt thinking and putting on God’s Thoughts.
Ephesians 4:22-24 exhorts us to “… put off concerning the former conversation (behavior) the old man (old self), which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and that ye put on the new man (the new self), which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.” This action is called renewing of the mind. It means to exchange a thought with another. It also means to know God’s word and His will so good that we could take a thought of ours and replace it with God’s thought s about the same matter. In much simpler way it is said this way doing what Jesus would do in all our actions if it was Him in our place. It also means to work out what we started believing in.
This working out of our salvation means to keep pressing on in the obedience we started in for deliverance of our soul from all trouble also. In the context this verse is not speaking about the fear of losing our initial salvation from Hell, but the deliverance that could be ours from all the self afflicted problems in this life and possibly the status we will one day have in standing at the final judgment seat of Christ. Many Christians today I am sad to say that are living with completely ignorant attitudes toward this judgment Seat or Bema Seat. They think it is only for rewards, or even here on earth they think they can live just like an unbeliever and yet escape the judgment of God on their ungodly deeds. They continue like their former conduct without realizing the price they will pay one day. Their mind is always anxious and never in rest. They constantly live at the edge. A really serious place to be for someone who has confessed the Lord. In this very essential part of our faith we need to realize that we cannot continue living without being transformed. After being introduced with the life of God how could we continue living with the fears and anxieties of an unregenerate mind. This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, 18 having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; 19 who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20 But you have not so learned Christ, 21 if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus:22 that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, 23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. These are once again the words of Paul in Ephesians chapter 4 and it is as though Apostle Paul is crying out to Church stop living like those who do not know Him or have not been taught by Him. Apostle of the Lord is pleading with them to stop their worldly thinking, so that God’s peace and security would be theirs. Stop acting like the unbelievers, so that God could embrace them and keep them safe from many unnecessary accidents in life. He basically wants them to have the song of the deliverance that Isaiah was talking about, which the remnant of Judah would sing. A song of true and perfect peace. He meaning Apostle Paul just like Isaiah the prophet was pleading for a nation who would enter into the gates where the truly righteous would. Apostle Paul just like prophet Isaiah wanted them to be freed from their anxious mind and that they could be free from the bondages of this passing life. He wanted them to experience the amazing love of Christ to the end and to see them trusting the Lord in all their affairs, so that they would be called the strong city that God would appoint them for complete salvation. This being their redemption from fear and anxiousness of this worldly existance.
Dear beloved of the Lord I too just like the rest of the laborers in God’s kingdom see this unbelievable tragedy right before my very own eyes. I too see many that have come and gone to our circle who are on the road to destruction, because they did not heed the cries of this amazing love. They turned death ear to the words of the warnings of the scriptures. They have become complacent daughters that say the Lord neither will do good or bad.
These are not going to experience the perfect peace of God in a hostile world. These will have no song of salvation to sing. Those who challenge God with remaining with their former ways are only going to suffer, because of their ignorance. Some might even lose their lives, kicking against the truth. In these last days these would remain wounded, living in many forms of offence. As prophet Isaiah says elsewhere in chapter 29 these are those who’s fear of God is by the commandments of men and do not want to come to the truth. These might verbally for a season acknowledge Him, but their hearts are far removed from His truth. They think if the judgment for an action is delayed by God that He would not attend to it. These are the mockers who Isaiah says about them like this. “ Let grace be shown to the wicked ,yet he will not learn righteousness; in the land of uprightness he will deal unjustly and will not behold the majesty of the Lord.
