Separated to conquer separation

This amazing title speaks of an amazing story.
Many of us like me hate the concept of separation. The word separation brings us all the thoughts of abandonment and rejection. Rejection is a great demonic tool which destroys many lives, therefore to be separated from…. Is always taken in a negative essence.
However today I would like for us to start looking at this word in a new and positive way.
Separated to conquer separation is an awesome revelation from the Lord.
The entire Bible speaks of this mystery in many dramatic ways and it always have an amazing meaning to us, the redeemed The entire word of God speaks in regards to God’s election of a special people by separating them to Himself as His own treasured possession. It is amazing the living word of God says in many occasions that Israel is Hispeculiar people and that they are His inheritance. God radically separates us to Himself through His foreknowledge.
In all His eternal for the lost world He chose us to be a unique people on to Himself.
Though He gave His Son for all, but he knew those who would respond to this great love in being willing to be separated unto Him.
He the Lord goes on to say even that in this He had separated us unto Himself from birth. Jeremiah chapter One explains that in detail.
This is the mystery. The world’s mindset sees separation as rejection, yet God’s wisdom prefers it as its own method of embracement.
When young Jeremiah refused to go for God to become His mouthpiece the Lord said to Him you are separated unto this from birth.
Separation in the eyes of God is completely opposite of human idea of separation. When God chooses something He separates that unto Himself. By doing so He allows others to stay away, so that His own possession will learn his/her own worth and value in the eyes of his/her Maker. With the same talk He separates His own unto Himself so that they would enjoy the great benefits of His love for them in the place of that separation. The Bible tells us that He is a jealous God. Look at the concept of redemption of the Jews from Egypt. The Lord had separated them from the rest of the people of the land, even in their physical location by having them live in the Land of Goshen.
Let us look at the life of Patriarch Joseph, how he was separated unto God’s future glory, but to him it all seemed as being rejected by his own beloved family and at times even from God Himself. To man it was rejection, but not to His Maker.
Even with our Lord Jesus in His incarnation, He was separated from His Father’s immediate glory to empty Himself in a human body to bring Him a conquering victory this side of glory. God the Father separated Jesus to conquer the power of all human separation in rejection. We see in the book of Esther, she too was separated by birth unto God in having her parents die in Jerusalem and her being sent to Persia unto a divine separation. Also when her time came to fulfill her call unto God she was separated again to the harem of theKing of Persia in preparation for her bridal election. Again in a divine act of mercy in her life she was being chosen to be different than many others in separation.
This divine foreknowledged act of grace separates God’s chosen to Himself to give them purpose in bringing God’s will on this earth. Yes this divine act of God cost Him His only begotten’s temporary separation.
Yes sometimes this feeling of being separated from the rest can make us feel lonely and forgotten by God and men, just as serving a prison sentence. Yet behind this prison walls awaits the conquering power of life that comes from Christ Himself. Here I am reminded of the verse in Hebrews chapter 13 that says “Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach.”(Heb. 13:13) meaning let us become separated from the rest of the people who would run away from His reproach. Let us run to it. You see Jesus was crucified outside of the city walls meaning He went way beyond human will to suffer. He chose to be an odd ball. The writer of the book of Hebrews says let us first spiritually go there with Him. Let us embrace this peculiarity, since the majority abhors its pain calling it even a curse.
Yet to the eternally separated it is the only way to victory.
To too many this idea is an unfathomable mystery that is why we all hate its sting, but to the mature in Christ it is the conforming wheal of the Potter. The Lord through Paul the Apostle many times tell us to separate ourselves from close union of all kinds with the unbelievers, since He understood the principal of this divine separation. The scripture goes to the extreme of even having us separated from sinning brothers.
Why? Again I trust in regards to being kept pure in our call to be separated to conquer separation.
Finally we come to the words of prophet Malachi who in chapter 3 verse 17 says “They shall be Mine”. Says the Lord of hosts. On that day I make them My jewels and I will spare or separate them from the rest. As a man spares or separates his own son who serves him.
See we need to understand that not all separation is bad. Not all loneliness is evil in itself. Apostle Paul says he too was separated by birth for the preaching of the gospel and that is why he went through so much suffering.
Suffering and the God of Love is what too many today do not understand, but the entire Bible teaches us that being separated on to Him means to be separated unto suffering. Since it is through suffering that we are able to conquer all that would come to separate us from the One that has called us to Himself. Many who look at the suffering of the righteous wonder about God’s love for them, but that is exactly where they have missed the entire truth of the calling of the elect. Oh how much we love to be called the elect and the Children of God and His Saints and His valued possession, but how easy we miss the divine purpose behind it all.
We see the author and the finisher of our faith our Lord Jesus the Bibles says He endured under heavy suffering looking beyond it to the victory it was going to bring Him. It is through suffering that His earthly man learned obedience the Bible says and that was His separation unto conquering.
In Romans chapter 8 verse 35 to 39 Apostle Paul declares the following truth…
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Then he names them one by one.
Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord”.
See here is what I meant with the title of our message for today. Separated to conquer the separation. Yes through our election of grace God foreknew us and whom He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that whom He called He also predestined and these He justified and whom He justified also glorified
And why did all of this? Because nothing is too hard for God. Therefore he wants us to go through this process of divine election of grace unto separation to His own Son’s conformity, so through Him we too would be come more than conquerors in all these areas in this life that come to try to separate us from His love in Christ. This is why Jesus Christ went through this unique experience on this side of glory to give us His victory to overcome all these that come to separate us from Him and His love.
This is why many of us go before the rest to bring others along our side as Ruth did by separating herself unto Boas at the threshing floor or as we saw Psalm 45 said to us in verses 10 to 17 about the Bride’s separation to be received in glory. God Bless
