Restoring the Lost Image

Yeshua the Perfect Image
The entire Bible speaks about one thing to bring mankind back to its original plan and purpose with God. Through Sin man lost God’s original plan for his/her creation.
Genesis 1:26-28 plainly explains God’s intention from His creation Adamah (Man Kind) is the word in Hebrew meaning soil or ground. Paul in 1 Cor. 15:47 clearly sees Adam as the earth man or the earthly man.
But the word that is very important here is the word image. The word Image refers to such qualities as reason, personality and intellect, which gives us all ability to hear, to See and to speak and most important of all the capacity to relate or to have communion with.
Through sin these were all lost in connection with our responses with God. Therefore the
Entire Bible is an attempt to restore us to the original Image, which was lost through disobedience.
In order to clearly understand the meaning of the word Godly Image we need to examine the entire scripture for the words atonement, sacrifice, the law and the words patient, goodness, love and mercy and grace.
Now the Bible clearly leads us into salvation or restoration. I believe these words are synonymous. The Name Yeshua means salvation or redemption, which means (to bring back to its original state) and the word Ha Mashiakh means (The anointed One).
The Author of the book of Hebrews in chapter 10 verses 26 through 39 after a lengthy discussion about The true faith and the need of endurance he end this chapter with a words of encouragement and that is, “ But we are of those who believe to the saving of the soul.” With this I bring us back to Christ Jesus who is anointed Restorer or Redeemer who is the perfect Image of the heavenly Man Christ Himself. (1 Cor.15:35-38)
The Bible says through the disobedience of one man Adam we all became transgressors and through obedience of one man Jesus we all became righteous. (Rom. 5:19)
Unfortunately the lost image produced its bitter fruit of lost dominion intended in Genesis chapter one yet through one Man Jesus Christ we have now access to it by His finished work of Calvary, if we continue in Him by trusting His word to the end through committing our lives entirely in His hand through the sanctifying work of His atoning Blood.
