Priestly Worship

Sermon

From the wilderness to The Tabernacle from the Tabernacle to the Temple and from the Temple to the Cross one thing is very evident and that is the necessity of true worship.

Worship is our call, our worship prepares the way for the king, only true worshipers have their hearts purified through worship and only pure in heart shall see God. Heaven is full of worshipers.

Only the true worshipers understand the fullness of His presence in the midst of their worship. Worship and obedience go hand in hand.

Importance and Requirements of true worship

  • .True worship involves genuine sacrifice. Abraham the father of our faith demonstrated worship in it’s best. He was willing to pay The price. (Gen. 22:1-5)
  • 2.True worship requires experiential humility and priestly transparency through many years of steadfast surrender by radical obedience. ( 2 Samuel 6:1-23)King David had to learn though he was a king, yet hehad to take His kingly robe and exchanged it with garments of priestly humility (A shortened Ephod).
  • 3.The third requirement of the true worship is demonstrated through The Cross of Calvary in the life of our Lord and Savior. He was given a Royal purple Robe, but He exchanged it with a self-sacrificing death on the cross as a symbol of genuine worship what the Holy Spirit through writings of Apostle Paul in Romans chapter 12:1-2 is now asking from all the remnant.
