Oh I hate Divorce God says

morsel

morselMarriage in the Bible is sacred, set-apart, holy, and eternal and is a type or allegory of the intense relationship that should exist between Yahweh (our Heavenly Father) and the people of Israel, and now between Yah’shua

( Yeshua) the Messiah (Jesus Christ) and the Messianic Community (the Church, of the New Covenant Israel) who are the present redeemed until all the promised fullness of national Israel too turn to their Master and Husband through the New Covenant made through the Messiah in these final days and by this the scripture in Romans 11 fully would be fulfilled , that says… and then after the number of the gentiles are fulfilled all Israel  would be saved.

However the truth of this marriage not only has not changed through the New Covenant made but has become even stronger in the spirit.

You see the Holy Scriptures shows us that there is a direct connection between God and His bride’s affection and human institution of the marriage covenant.

In the Old covenant reading of the Prophet Malachi the prophet was very strict in speaking God’s ordained covenant will for the Levites and their wives of their youth. He called them guilty of infidelity and by this in chapter 2 verse 16 the prophet declares that God of Israel says that “ He hates divorce, for it covers one’s garment with violence” the prophet said. Then God immediately commands them to take heed to their spirit.

You know why such a strong command, since the Bible says God has made us to have a remnant of one spirit.

This is also the foundation of the spiritual truth of our relationship with God and denying this fact for any other so called truth is to forsake God for a morsel of food

forsaken Me for a morsel of food

You see God is calling not only material food as food, but any thing that satisfies one’s eternal soul is called food. As in the natural some can stay full on healthy food and some on junk food, it is the same in the spirit and we can exchange our relationship with Him with anything that would just keeps us temporarily fixed until it’s negative effects kill us through malnutrition.

I am not yet speaking about our physical marriages, since even Apostle Paul in the letter of the Ephesians’ calls that a type of the original heavenly reality instituted by God Himself intending to be our eternal Bridegroom.

God being also the potter is trying to shape us into the Image of His intended bride, so that the intense marriage relationship would be restored, so that it’s true fruit would a loving relationship leading into a holy progeny for Him.

As the scripture speaks about Children being the fruit of the womb and a heritage from the Lord. The true and intense relationship with God would produce heavenly fruits in the heavenly and spiritual  womb. God wants us to remain in Him through a healthy, and intense longing for the Him and seeing His children wondering around and giving themselves to other husbands has very much grieved the Lord of Hosts.

As in the natural who the physical marriage has lost it’s intended meaning so has it in the spiritual relationship of The Lord and the Church.

The  order of dependence of the wife on her husband’s provision and headship has almost lost it meaning in these final days, and actually  has become none existance.

Men have lost their image of God’s intended creative order not only from the fall of Adam, but also in the society of the ecclesia, which, is called the remnant of God.

Men are becoming more and more like Ahab’s who are looking unto another man’s garden and in covetousness desire what is not theirs and in their lack of Godly virtue are calling on their wives to obtain the unlawful through intrigue.

Instead of them staying in their own ordained place of leadership, men are sold out to their earthly passions and their mandate of their heavenly dependency on their Lord has lost it’s meaning.

Like Esau they too have become greedy for the extravagance of this earthly world and are forfeiting their relationship with God exchanging them with the delicacies of someone else’s garden.

Staying in the true garden of the Lord has become an unpopular life style and many in our weak  & fearful state of apostasy have become more aware of outside remedies  than into trusting God to provide for us while serving Him in His garden.

Unfortunately some like Ahab in this picture are pointing out on other’s gardens and by spiritual idolatry hire the spirit of Jezebel to obtain for them what is another’s man’s inheritance. In the midst of all of these we are left with serious thoughts of committing what can one day destroy us if we are not carful.

You see the marriage between us and the Lord has been compromised with side acceptance of foreign false remedies and by these we have neglected that promised walk with the Lord, which brought eternal redemption to those who did stick by them.

Men like Enoch and Elijah chose their intense marital relationship over the false promises of this fallen and perishing world. The Bible testifies of the outcome of their faith.

The scripture says they denied the passing pleasures of this life for a better inheritance which would not fade away.

Many of the Lord’s intended bride just like the five unwise virgins are like those who came to Jeremiah and asked him to inquire of the Lord for them, since they in their hearts had decided to leave for Egypt meaning to return to the World for protection since the spiritual warfare was too intense in Israel.

Yet when the prophet came back in Jeremiah

42 :7-17 to tell them about their heavenly husband’s love for them and His protection while they stayed in the famish and war stricken Judah, they disregarded His plea of faithfulness for them. Though they were supposedly willing to hear God’s take on their behalf, yet in their hearts they had gone after the morsel of food in hypocrisy of their false confessions of marital love and faithfulness .Yes in Judah there was the sound of the trumpet and sign of lack of bread, yet their lack of trust brought their worst nightmare & fear upon them in land of safety.

What they were afraid would happen while trusting God in Judah took them away in Egypt.

You see our God being a God of Covenants has left us the marriage institution as a true example of the heavens reality, yet many of His people do exactly like what the fornicators like Esau did.

In the times of testing they who call themselves believers all leave their trusted Savior to run to other hard task masters.

Although we all confess to have a need to find the puzzle of our faith, yet many of us run from underneath it’s truth to another cheap and temporary counterfeit.

This is exactly what the Old Covenant Israel did so many times. Ephraim and Judah both were leaving their only Husband for burning incenses to Baal and other foreign ditties often. But The Lord always would come to them with His faithfulness to call them back to Himself being their only true husband.

Yes He still is the true source of our thirst and He is Our Only Mayim Khayim.

The Only source of true refreshment is to come back to Him in His word for true strength and sustenance in this race called faith.

Yes the road is narrow and it gets narrower everyday, and He the True God and The Husband of our soul is seeking true and a genuine Bride

In coming to this relationship of trust through the Covenant of Blood of the eternal Lamb of God by His grace we have redemption and this redemption is engraved on our hearts when we stay close and do not look unto Egypt.

You see many of us many times were fooled to return from the land of valley’s and the hills in which He is the only source of the true refreshment to another land by going after a morsel of the  forbidden fruit, yet praise God that we are sustained through His unfathomable grace for a better resurrection and a marriage feast that is consummated in heaven.

May my words cause Christ’s abundant grace to fall on you for endurance and patience of faith. May the God of all glory extend His mercy upon us for fearing the hated eternal divorce. And may all His promises in Christ Jesus through His grace bring us home to our long awaited husband.
