Isaiah’s revelation of The Reign of Jesse’s Offspring

The prophet Isaiah through the inspiration of the Lord had prophesied about the coming reign of the righteousness of Christ and in it all he saw through inspiration the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit that was going to rest on Christ in His baptism.
Isaiah 11:1-5 speaks of these incredible gifts that was to be imparted on Christ upon fully being baptized from heaven in attributes or gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Therefore in His humanness the Lord Jesus our Messiah was the partakers of all these gifts and the final one is the awesome imparkation of gift of the Fear of the Lord.
In this passage we read how the Spirit of the Lord will rest upon Him and the gifts are imparted to Him for the fulfillment of this passage of the scripture in His first & 2nd coming.

In His humanness our Lord constantly looked upon His Father as the source of sustenance and the awe of His awesomeness never left His sight. It was as though He was living in both realms at once, though limited physically in a human body, yet His presence was an inseparable reality with Him.
I believe the fear of the Lord is an ever present sense of God’s presence at all times. A gift through which man’s conscious is awakened and also maintained revived at all times.
I believe this is why Apostle Paul after his dramatic conversion was able to live uprightly before His God and that is why he wrote “ Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Although often many of us are trying to believe in or preach another easier interpretation of such verses, yet I believe regardless The Truth remains the same.
Being embraced by God is to have received His attributes of which the most important is the Fear of The Lord. The entire Bible speak of this absolute necessity for God’s children. It is what sustains life in us, and it is what convicts us to separate ourselves from the ungodly world around us. In Exodus chapter one the scripture says to us in verse 17 that “The midwives feared God , and did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the male children alive.” You see the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom as the scripture speaks about and this is an absolute necessity to be in faith and partakers of the world to come.
The book of Revelation of Jesus Christ to Apostle John in chapter 3 speaks of the indifferent or the lukewarm church of the final days and I believe the main reason of such hostile rejection of our Lord invitation for this Church to repent was their lack of the fear of the Lord.
In Isaiah 11th chapter the prophet foresees as a seer that the kingdom reign of The Messiah will be based on the fear of the Lord and His delight would be in it and further accomplishments of His kingdom will arise from such a state of an awe.
Therefore I think too that prior to this manifestation in the physical realm, meaning the Kingdom of God coming in a physical form the Church would loose her most essential element and this is the fear of the Lord.
The final lukewarm Church or even the dead Church of Sardis too, I believe were suffering from the lack of such a state of Godly reverence and awe. I believe both prophet Isaiah and John the revelator both had this spiritual concept revealed to them that it is the fear of the Lord that sustains mans faith unwavering and safe.
This is why Jude the half brother of our Lord spoke about saving some with fear. What fear is that he is speaking about? I believe is this same fear of the Lord.
Apostle Paul a prior persecutor of the Church was always contemplating with the people to turn from their wicked ways and live under the guidance of the Holy Spirit in reverential fear of the Lord.
The entire book of Hebrews is addressed to the Jews and in it speaks of Christ’s Godly fear in submitting Himself to the will of His heavenly Father.
In verses 7 through 9 of chapter 5 of Hebrews the word says the following “ In the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear, though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered and having been perfected , He became the author of salvation to all who obey Him.”
The Bible says the following in respect to healthy fear of the Lord.
Why healthy, because this concept is seldom twisted by the enemy into a very different concept and it completely looses it’s intended meaning.
In the true sense of the matter the true meaning of the fear of the Lord is the best described in the following verses.
The “fear of the Lord” is the beginning of knowledge – Pr 1:7 2. The “fear of the Lord” will cause one to hate evil – Pr 8:13 3. The “fear of the Lord” will prolong life – Pr 10:27 4. The “fear of the Lord” provides strong confidence and is a fountain of life – Pr 14:26-27 5. The “fear of the Lord” prompts one to depart from evil – Pr 16:6 6. The “fear of the Lord” leads to a satisfying life, and spares one from much evil – Pr 19:23 7. The “fear of the Lord” is the way to riches, honor, and life! – Pr 22:4
Now if The Fear of the Lord is a gift of the Holy Spirit spoken in Isaiah 11 and we being partakers of this gift, then how come so many of us lack this most important commodity of our faith? Yes and if we have received this through receiving the Spirit of adoption, then how is it that majority of the Church lacks this gist in these final days? There is much evil in the church. Why?
It was just yesterday when I was lead into Lamentation chapter 4 and felt like this was not the cry of Jeremiah for Israel, but a current outcry of the Spirit of God for us the Church. It really terrifies me, when I believe the Lord is directing me to such scriptures for personal and corporate reproof.
What can we say about the Gifts of the Holy Spirit ? Are they not there, or are we not using them properly, or have we quenched the spirit by our repeated and prolonged willful sin? Is there still a cry for Holiness or no?
Have we lost the battle completely ?
Where are the truly called Godly men?
The preaching of a cheap grace has placed the bride of Christ under a heavy seduction of slumber and many have no desire to be awakened into shunning evil. The constant and prolonged sins not being addressed has made some forget the reality of God’s judgment, therefore no real repentance is seen.
The lack of Godly Fear in the Church has lead all to forget the soon coming judgment. Repentance is limited to a lip service and no real action of walking away from sin is really found.
I personally walk in fear daily of not finding true Godly fear around me. Godly fear that would lead into genuine turn of actions not words alone. God help us from such a great apostasy and it’s eternal and deadly predicaments.
In closing I want to say this one final thing, that God is real and His kingdom though now invisible, yet is very real. The ones who are expected to rule and reign with Him must know that all that we read or hear in our spirits are very real.
In a kingdom of righteousness no unclean person would rule and reign with Him, therefore the Spirit of God is urging us to come to understanding of the hour we are in and the necessity of our own co-operation in becoming the vessels of His righteousness through obedience, otherwise we might miss the privilege of wedding supper of the lamb and His millennial reign.
These are very real spiritual truths that Satan is trying to allure us from, turning our attentions elsewhere by giving us a completely different gospel in these final hours. Please let us cry out to Him who could save us in this final hour from an eternal abode of restless shame and despair.
