In light of His glory

On the great and awesome day of the Lord’s predestined visitation of His glory one man was thrown dawn from his earthly comforts of the life in the flesh to realize the existence of a much higher demand of the eternal realm of God’s glorious existence.

We call this “ The Damascus” experience, meaning leaving the earthly for the heavenly truth.

You see in Apostle Paul God fully demonstrated the end of an earthly prospective of the Kingdom to the heavenly one. One which our Messiah Yeshua

( Jesus) was addressing in all His teachings to His Jewish audience first and then to the Goyeim or the gentile nations.

The principal of the Kingdom of heaven was an unknown mystery to men since Eden.

Unfortunately the same earthly mindset that had captured the mindset of the Old Covenant bride ( Israel after the flesh) has crept in un noticed into the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Meaning of life to a an uncircumcised Jewish brother has always been associated to the earthly prosperity of abundance of wealth, since the Patriarchs of faith were usually blessed that way.

But when the Messiah of Israel appeared on earth the spiritual realm was to be introduced all over again and that is why a carnal mind, even through the knowledge of the scripture could not recognize Him as their Messiah.

Why ? because they were waiting for a physical redeemer and a physical king, but they did not realize that first the heart of men needed to be redeemed so that in His second coming the physical world could be redeemed also.

This is why Yeshua of Nazareth the Messiah of Israel in His parables spoke of the two Lazarus’s the poor and wealthy and their eternal destination as an eye opening factor, that in the heavenly Kingdom the possessions of man is not a basis for the man’s spiritual well being or eternal prosperity of the heavenly Kingdom. On the contrary it can even become a means of loss or a real hindrance to the true abundant life in the spirit. This was a complete slap in the face of an earthly view of life in the flesh. Even though to the remnant elect of the Old Covenant people this was still a clear picture, since even then the Spirit of God was speaking of a higher standard of life, in

the story of Esau and Jacob this was a full demonstration of such heavenly truth.

However Jesus Christ needed to make matters clear for many who still lived in ignorance of the flesh.

Now the Lord Yeshua our Messiah in making this issue clear to His Jewish brethren who asked Him to stand judge between two brother on their inheritance said an awesome parable, which we will now read.

Luke 12:13 to 34 is the huge truth unveiled for us about earthly abundant life and heavens Kingdom and it’s prospective on such weak mindset. Am I saying God would not let financial abundance visit His

people ? absolutely not. Some unfortunately miss read my words or my heart in what I preach. This what I am saying that the earthly riches are not a sign of God’s approval of the person or even what we call abundant life with God.

On the contrary I am saying a wrong prospective of abundant life can destroy man’s view of the coming Kingdom and disappoint many with God and His purposes for them now here on earth.

In this parable which we just read in Luke 12, we must see how the Lord Jesus is trying to destroy the perversion of the truth that had crept in to His people Israel, and through this to teach us the spiritual Israel the means to life “ KHAI” is far above what we possess in the natural realm.

It is an awesome demonstration of the true meaning of being “ The Israel” of God, or God’s genuine people who’s trust is not in their possession, but He who supplies the seed to the Sower.

Israel often left their God for what was not God at all and it was all in their physical prosperous times. Therefore we need to really learn this aspect now before it is too late. Verse 15 of chapter 12 of Luke’s gospel is a very clear demonstration of such heavenly truth.

Church let us no be ignorant no more let us seek things that are above and not the things on this earth.

We are approaching the end of the days and our riches can not be sufficient for heat of the day ahead of us. True riches will be our means of sustenance. Our abundance in the natural can not save nor guarantee our survival.

Let us not be like Esau who for a morsel of food sold his inheritance. Let us seek a higher set of spiritual standard of existence in the spirit.

The Lord said the gentiles go after the worries of this life. God has promised us that He is aware of all our needs. Let us look for need in someone else’s life and let us provide for them and God who sees the labor of our love would fill our need according to the riches of his glory in Jesus Christ.

The word says delight yourselves in the Lord and He will give you the desire of your heart. ( Psalm 37:4)

He said He has given us the Kingdom.

James the half brother of our Lord in James chapter 5 says it this way.

Come now, you rich weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you!

Your riches are corrupted and your garments are moth-eaten.

Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped up treasure in the last days, indeed the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields , which you kept back by fraud cry out and cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth.

You have lived on earth in pleasure and luxury as in a day of slaughter. You have condemned , you have murdered the just: he does not resist you.

Wow what proclamation of unjust living to the rich who put their priorities on riches and not the Lord.

Lord keep us from all such snares to our faith.

Help us win the war that is being fought against our soul in your mercy.
