Holy Desperation

A holy state of desperation is the perfect atmosphere for God’s miracle working power to be manifested in the believer’s life.

Job was a man who was reduced to this position to personally experience God’s miracle working power in his life. ( Job 6:26-27)

1 Samuel 1:1-28

When we cry for more of God he is faithful to increase our need for Him by making us desperate for Him.

When God makes us desperate for Him, all the rules change. Our life is totally out of control. We have radically different values; we don’t care what others think of us; we become extremely focused on our goal; relationships take a secondary role to our one pursuit; we then will take great risks, because we have nothing to lose.
