Greatest Violation Independence

13

Independence became the greatest violation of the heavens. “God said “Let Us make man in our own Image, according to our own likeness” Genesis 1:26

“So God created man in His own Image; in the Image of God He created him”…. Genesis 1:27

In the beginnings of all creations God created man to resemble Himself in all maters and in the Likeness of God He created them. Yet very soon in Genesis 3:5 the greatest violation of Heaven’s Paradise transferred to the earthly realm of His creation and that was the error of Independence. Man chose to be on His own and through this spiritual death began its reign.

Man through his own free choice of a perfect free will became an independent creature.

The deepest earnest purpose of man’s creation was violated by an enemy called wanting to be like God in Knowing good and evil. Heaven’s transgression found place in the heart of man.

In Genesis 1:27 the scripture continues to says in this way… “Male and female He created them.” The formation of Eve from Adam’s rib was to unite Adam with his mate to complete the picture of God’s likeness in a human form making them co-dependant unto one another and God.

However the heaven’s greatest sin made its way to man’s heart by alluring Him to chose a life apart from being dependent upon Him and declared an existance separated from its original creative purposes. The craftiest of all beasts “the Serpent” introduced its most vehement venom to them. “You shall be like God”.

Through this great transgression man became an independent being, a vagabond on the earth naked in the eyes of heaven and other men and in total independence from God and His best for them. Therefore the sentence spoken over them included for the woman through whom the violation came a lifelong yeildedness to her mate. In Genesis 3:16 God said to woman “Your desire shall be for your husband and he shall rule over you”.

This was so until the redemptive plan of God in Christ “the last Adam “would bring them to the former partnership God intended for them before their transgression of their creative purposes would take place. Man then had to become a servant leader of the family under the headship of Christ to restore the heaven’s order of things in their original purpose of their creation.

This was brought all the way to the New Covenant scripture through Paul’s writings.

Well we should praise God for His redemptive purposes even from the very beginnings.

In Genesis it was still revealed that through this very woman whom the transgression came, that the destroyer of the head of the Serpent would come. “I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her Seed; He (Christ) shall bruise your head and you shall bruise His heel”. Gen. 3:15

An amazing restorative plan is unveiled right here from the inception of all things. God once again established His reign through submission and sovereignty of His greater plan of redemption and restoration of all things. A definite end to the plan of man’s independence planed and purposed according to the foreknowledge of the Creator of all things ready to be revealed in these last days.

A complete reversal of all transgression from the inception of all things planed and purposed eternally. From the first pronouncement of Judgment on the earth’s rebellion of independence through the flood in the life of Noah, the Lord was performing a restorative plan of His redemption through bringing man to its knees in admitting one thing and that was a constant need of man to be dependent on the divine ordinance of heavens in trust. Noah trusted God in an independent society for 120 years of daily walk in hearing, trusting and obeying the divine warning. By this the word said he became the heir of righteousness according to faith (Trust). Abraham was another agent of restorative redemption of God’s plan who after the Babylonian revolt had to walk not in independence, but a constant life of obedient trust (Faith) in the midst of a rebellious generation. Genesis 12: 1 gives us the details of that trust. “Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house”. A complete disassociation of earthly dependence, in another sense was a total independence from God while dependent on familiar things of this independent fallen state of being.

Let My People go to worship me in the Deseret…

These were the very words Moses and Aaron spoke to pharaoh before the Israel of God were to lead in knowing and worshiping their God in the desert of Sinai.

Here again we see how God’s restorative plan of redemption is introducing the worship of His people His own inheritance through returning them to learn to trust in Him rather than living a life of independence from God. Moses their leader too was first taken from his own comforts of the palace of the king of Egypt for  40 years of  training in the wilderness before he was called to lead the people to a complete surrender and acknowledgement of God’s plan of redemption for them through abandonment of  self-reliance and complete trust in God. The land of Goshen in Egypt and the wilderness of Paran served as the main tutors of their new found grace in turning to God from all self dependence or dependence on Egypt.

One of the greatest lessons to learn in worshiping God besides the law and the tabernacle of worship was the daily sustenance that was provided for them in the Deseret called manna. Manna which was the bread from heaven was their spiritual act of forsaking their state of independence acquired by their forefathers in Eden. I would say more than all things the necessity of their daily sustenance through this bread from heaven was the restorative agency of their survival with God. The very thing they abhorred after a while and the same thing we all do at times even now. The very things that God had decided to be the reconciling factor of their walk in the wilderness became their enemy.

Oh how man hates to walk in (Faith= trust) in God and loves to rely on all other than God for all His need. The same violation that caught heavens paradise off guard visited man on earth. The heavens Paradise suffered violence due to one transgression and that was Independence. The men who made the tower of Babel and all who build on their own strength are saying the same very thing I do not want to live in trusting the Lord. I can do all things in my strength.

Even prophet Habakkuk seeing all that was going on around himself in the worst period of Israel’s rebellion after his long dialogue with God learned one thing and that was expressed by Him in the second chapter of his prophecy like this.

“Behold the proud, his soul is not upright in him; but the just *shall live by his faith”. Hab. 2:4 a statement birth after a longing to understand the means by which man was to live in the midst of a fallen world, waiting for the sons of God to be revealed.

The greatest fallacy of all times was and is this urge for independence, a  lack of reliance on God and His eternal plan of redemption.

When Yeshua (Jesus) of Nazareth fulfilled the prophecies of Genesis 49:10 & 11 and Zachariah 9:9 on Palm Sunday He fulfilled this very thing concerning the transgression of Adam in walking in independence from His creator. The humble state of His entrance toJerusalem on the colt of the donkey brought men to express their state of pilgrimage on the earth in showing it in laying their robes before Him and palms were laid at His feet in acknowledgment of their complete surrender to Him of their Independent state of their original sinof Eden. Through this act of grace they laid their pride and their self-reliance before whom soon was going to show His own dependence on His God a week later by dying for them on the cross to reconcile them with God in complete dependence on Him for all life and sustenance.

This was Sukkot fulfilled in action.

I Am Lekhem ET Elohim “I Am the Bread of life”.

Jesus said He is the bread of life and who ever now daily partakes of Him shall never die. What do you think He meant when he said this. I trust He is still saying who ever trust in Me today for all sustenance will will continue to live in these final hours. Now that God is restoring all things He is saying lay dawn all in my presence your independence inherited from Adam your forefather and come live by faith. Trust Me in this final hour of your wilderness journey partake of Me who can bring you to your restorative work of redemption by a daily trust in Me for all sustenance. The proud would not see the true Bread and would not live in daily sustenance by Him, but the Just shall live by their faith. In Psalm 84:5 of Sons of Korah verse five I close my sermon for today “Blessed is the man whose strength is in you. Whose heart is set on pilgrimage.
