Enlightened to receive the right prospective

In pursuit of the true Christianity we have to understand a principal that our natural man is unable to grasp the right purpose  or prospective of our faith.

We need the help of the precious Holy Spirit’s enlightenment to fully comprehend our true position in Him.

Many entering this eternal abode of life remain untouched by this heavenly revelation, therefore they continue to live an unfruitful Christian Life despite the Lord’s command for complete surrender to this higher truth, only revealed in Him by His majestic power of Spirit’s illumination.

In Matthew ‘s 20^th Chapter verse 20 the mother of the Zebeddee brothers came to Jesus asking Kingdom privileges for her  sons James and John and received an unexpected respond from the Lord. Why?

Because the whole idea of Christianity was completely misunderstood by her. The true  purpose of the faith in Christ needed to receive the illumination of the Spirit to discover the right prospective. The Lord Jesus had to explain to her aunt who was the mother of the Zebedee’s the right prospective of the Kingdom of God and its principles, which was contrary to the principals of this fallen world. Her aunt was recommending her sons for promotion in the coming age, yet Jesus explained to her that she had it all wrong.

Many like her come to Jesus even today with a wrong and conceived view of the Kingdom. They are looking with a wrong motive in their hearts and each proclaiming their own right. As in proverbs 16 verse 2 says “ All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, But the Lord weights the spirits.”

Jesus here speaks to His own that Kingdom privileges have a completely different

Prerequisites and most importantly it requires a baptism which not many are willing to go through. It carries in itself a cup not many are willing to drink. You see here is the problem even today. Men look at the outward glory of a man’s position, yet God looks at the heart of man if he is able to endure all things in a servants heart attitude.

This is main purpose of all who are called for servant leader position in Him. The prospective needs to be adjusted to match the heavenly standard and not to the earthly appetites of the flesh. Here is where the heading of our message drives its strength from. Enlightened to receive the right prospective is what every man needs as we enter into His service. Many come to the kingdom with completely wrong prospective and these are the ones who are in for a great surprise.

A complete opposite is awaiting them.

Jesus often weeps over those who come to Him with a wrong prospective of His incarnation and the purposes of His Kingdom rule. He weeps on our ignorance’s of our blindness’s of our hearts. He sees the motives of mans heart as I mentioned in Proverbs 16:2.

He knows that we are from a fallen disposition and that are best is nothing but a filthy rag before Him. He understood that unless He goes away the Holy Spirit would not come and that by its coming we can receive the true prospective of the life in Him. He understood the deviation of man’s heart from God’s truth and He realized that with it we may live and die by our wrong motives of the heavenly calling.

Apostle Paul too seeing this deviation of the truth in man’s heart prays this prayer in Ephesians 1 verses 15 to 19. In praying this prayer the apostle of the Lord is unveiling a majestic truth by the Holy Spirit of God.

He prays in this way that “ The God of our Lord Jesus Christ ( Meaning the Father God ) the Father of glory, may give to us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.  The eyes of our understanding  being enlightened , that we may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.”

Here I want to stop and meditate on His word. A prayer for the enlightenment of mans heart to receive the right heavenly prospective about his own calling from God. What a great and direct answer from God for a man who has lost his true prospective in Eden. A genuine cry from the heart of Paul to bring back mans prospective of the purpose of his creation and election according to grace in Christ Jesus.

It is the most accurate cry of mans heart for a focused view on God’s choice of redemption of the elect. For him to know the riches of the glory of God’s inheritance in the saints.

In this now God is looking to see His own

Benefits in the redemption of His treasured possession through the sacrifice of His own beloved Son. It is the right prospective attained by the revelation of God’s wisdom that makes man want to serve God after He is saved through grace. Now it is no longer what God can do for me, but what I can do for God in serving Him in truth. It is complete change of heart in man. Here the elect no longer waits to see what God can give him, but that what God could expect to see us do for him. As in Psalm 110 the psalmist says

“ Your people shall be volunteers in the day of Your Power; in the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning”. 110:3 or as Apostle Paul in 2^nd Thessalonians says the following that “All this is evidence that God’s judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering.”

These are all the  evidences of the enlightened purposes of God in an elect’s prospective of God’s view  of things in their lives.
