At the blast of the last trumpet calls of God

Where would we stand in regards to our Christian Character and the work of our faith?
Matthew 25:14-46
Matthew speaks of our Lord’s second coming and the rewards given in the kingdom for faithful service to Him.
Character verses reputation is what the scale of the measurement of this reckoning would be.
In Matthew the 25th chapter the Lord Jesus speaks of stewardship of all we have been trusted with in this life and, it is amazing that the parable speaks of the attitude of men’s heart towards their entrusted talents within the Kingdom.
Each example in this chapter of the scripture speaks of men’s response to God’s calling. It is a complete picture of our Christian characters developed after hearing the gospel. It is also a test of man’s faithfulness in responding to the invitation to the kingdom by bringing works of faith. The response of the last steward was the very sad and shameful response. This means no fruits were seen in this man’s test of stewardship for entrance into to the joyous kingdom of our Lord.
On the contrary a lack of faith with a wrong conception of the Lord’s heart was noticed in this man’s response. His lack of genuine faith kept him unfruitful in performing his righteous acts of faith.
In the story of the Good Samaritan Jesus revealed the Characteristic of many hypocritical men of so called faith by passing by the afflicted and traumatized in this wilderness called life. The ignorance of these Levites and priests in performing acts of righteousness, described the barren state of their pilgrimage called the walk of their faith.
Many Christians willingly forgetting the righteous acts of their faith are wondering in this life forgetting the very reason of their callings. Ephesians chapter 4 completely described the reason of our salvation as being conformed to Christ’s image for works of ministry. Not preaching, teaching folks, but to be active in the ministry to the helpless.
Today Christians are becoming so void of understanding of their calling that they even neglect their own homes and families in grabbing hold of fantasies instead of faith.
They leave the perishing behind and are loaded with self deceit. They are busy with counterfeit works of darkness of this world. They easily fall back at the norms of their ignorant life styles of their past and are counting their attendance at church as a service to God and men. Just like the passing priests and the Levites they pretend they do not see the suffering at their side and are busy worrying for their own survival. In a selfish and prideful society they too have their own place of vanity. Building their own mansions they call them God’s promise of prosperity to them. Their friendship with the world has brought enmity between them and their God.
This serious violation of their stewardship of their wealth and talents has rubbed them of their access into heaven. By their mouths they make great boastings, yet in their actions they have denied their own sovereign Lord who once has saved them.
This unfortunately describes the majority of the Church of Jesus Christ today. Many are perishing on the streets of our towns and children are dying of lack of a parenting love. Even in the Church charity has forgotten its place. The Love of our God has placed itself with a prideful arrogant honor for the wicked. The vile is being called good and good is being passed by as evil. The poor in the Church are called cursed and the sick and dying an irritation to their nostrils. The eternal perspective is exchanged with passing and dying things of this world and the values of the kingdom is being exchanged with passing pleasures of this world. No longer the fast of the Isaiah 58 is a delight in the eyes of the so called church and the festivals of the wickedness has replaced the good virtues of the true Christian ethics.
The true prophets and priests are considered a hostile elements by the people in their midst just as Hosea 9:8 speaks of.
The Church is a place of gathering where no real ministry takes place. It has become a gathering place of religious men and women with no real substance of faith being shown. After Sunday the entire week passes by without almost anyone truly extending a hand to the needy and hungry. Hospital visitation are avoided at any costs and the suffering are left unnoticed by masses. The hungry remain helpless while the appetite of many are being satisfied by luxuries of these modern day era of this final Babylon. Mother Teresa’s remain unique names and prison inmates left alone in the corners with no visitors to bring them hope of the gospel of our Lord. People are dying and perishing everyday and, the so called saints just pass them by in their ease and comforts of this passing life. In all this we should still remember a day of reckoning is still at hand.
Yet no real fear of the Lord seems to be there.
Yet in the midst of all this Matthew 25 verse 31 to 46 has the end expressed in its context.
Here is where many would be amazingly surprised. People who expected to receive a rich entrance and rewards are in for a shock and many who thought to have been barren would receive a rich welcome.
Surprise and shame will cover many faces and guilt and everlasting regret will be the portion of many. Many would want to go back to change the time and recourses wasted on none essentials, but it would be too late, and many would have to be eternally naked in the shame and reproach of their own carnal choices. Can you envision the Lord Jesus will seat at His throne and judge not only the actions of the people, but the motives behind them.
Many would have to cry for sorrow, yet there would be another group who’s wedding garment would be radiant since while on earth they were busy preparing them for the Wedding Supper of the Lamb. Rev. 19: 7-9
This is why it is not important what you and I did with none essentials, but what we did with all we received from the Lord after we were justified through His grace in serving Him.
It is the Love of God that produces the gifts of our righteousness and that will be weighed on the scale of our actions of our faith soon.
Therefore I believe the Lord is asking us a final time. Church would you come and participate in the righteous acts of the saints that you are?
Would you partner with me in the charitable acts of kindness to the poor and the needy and sick? Or you would still remain in your comfort zone in doing the works of the flesh, even some done arrogantly in My Name?
He I trust is saying would you stop entertaining the so called saints and come forward in true ministry of helps motivated by His love? In all honesty the choice is left wide open with us. Who is stopping you to meet the bridegroom of your calling in His service of Love? Could it be your own family or next of keen like Rebecca whom her own brethren and fathers house would stop in leaving with Eliezer Abraham’s servant to meet her bridegroom?
