A leap of doubt through unbellief

One of the greatest assaults on the body of Christ is the leap of doubts through unbelief that is brought upon us in this last hour.
Faith and doubt are the two extremes of an equation. Many are hindered for successes by this stronghold today. Doubt and unbelief are parallels coming to destroy our faith and by this many have stumbled from the way of the truth. Doubt is a faith breaker and is designed to kill one‘s most deer of all gifts and that is faith.
Doubt is a counterpart to wavering spirit and it is a stronghold birth from Hell and its origin comes from unbelief.
Both of these negative emotions could come as the fruits of a deep wounded spirit through the feelings of rejection felt by men from early childhood.
These are destructive negative emotions that can hinder our process of growth and blessing in God.
Doubt and unbelief could be spirits also.
One of the highest forms of such stronghold is unbelief towards God’s ability to performs in times of extreme difficulty or trial. This form of doubt in unbelief in God’s ability or faithfulness is a form of blasphemy.
As discussed earlier last week on Thursday night we spoke that Asaph’s quarrel with God in psalm 77, which was found to still praise God in His faithfulness towards men. Questioning God in His ability to perform in impossible situations is questioning Him in Him being omnipower.
As I said this could be a dangerous leap and even a leap of faith. This could be a very dangerous zone to cross over sometimes. Can God make a way where there seems to be no way? One of the final tests of our faith could come when we are left in a desert of impossibilities to see God perform, unfortunately Israel failed to enter in to God’s rest right here.
Believing in God in the midst of natural possibilities does not require faith in Him. It is in the midst of impossibilities that we need to trust Him. One of such issues are the salvation of man’s soul. The Bible says with God all things are possible.
Thomas one of the twelve failed to recognize Him in His power of resurrection and that is where he was left in a shameful state before all when he had to recognize Him in the natural sense of his lower state of existance.
This state of spiritual apathy prolonged is called failure to recognize God’s ultimate right of being all powerful and all knowing and altogether is a deep resentment of acknowledgment of His Godhead.
The presence of such continual ignorance of the truth is a leap of doubt into a state of blasphemy of one’s own faith.
To stay under such state of rejection of the revealed truth can be very serious for any one calling themselves a believer.
To be a true believer we need to reject every lie that comes from the enemy or from our own presumptuous thoughts. We have to believe without a shadow of a doubt that He who has promised is also faithful to perform His promises.
Sometimes the extreme circumstances of life is the ONLY chance to have God show His Power on behalf of His Children. When all natural and humanistic possibilities end it is then that God’s miracle working pour is allowed to bring glory to Him. When men fail to make a Babylon of their making God is then ready to build an Ark of safety. It is then that beyond a shadow of any doubt men could acknowledge it is God and not man doing His miracle.
But unfortunately many still fail to recognize this most important commodity of our faith. It is in the famine that when God all of a sudden provides we see His hand of grace working in and upon us.
The story of 2 Kings chapter 6 is a very sad story of the most tragic time in the history of Israel and yet how God through His prophet brought forth a word which was not received by a messenger of the king.
This man in 2nd Kings chapter 7 made a statement through human unbelief through presumption that blocked his own future blessing from coming, and some of us are in the same danger today. When we like this messenger say “ Look if the Lord would make windows in heaven, could this be? We too are assassinating God’s character and His ability to perform and that would just be our downfall and cause to be neglected by Him for an out pouring of grace.
You see this kind of blaspheme is what caused this very man to be trampled by those who went to possess their inheritance from God.
This kind of unbelief is a major reason for many failures in receiving blessings today.
In the Old Covenant book of Malachi, the prophet is assuring his readers that if they test God in giving their thies in times of famine would move God’s heart to bless them in opening the windows of heaven to shower on them the blessings, yet I believe they too were afraid in their unbeleif to trust God with their thies and offering saying can God really bless me if I give now?
Also in the same prophesy in chapter3 the prophet rebukes those who complain in their service to God since they did not see immediate reward from their state of serving God so diligently. However in the following verses the prophet declares that God is a just record keeper and never forgets any of our faith based actions on His behalf. These are also deep leaps of faith in doubt and unbeleif and very dangerous place to be with God.
Israel of God in the Old Covenant angered Him by words of their unbelief many times.
When Israel said in the wilderness can God really prepare a table for us in such a state of barrenness it was very blasphemous to God. Yes He did prepare that table, yet the Bible also said He send leanness into their soul. Psalm 106.
This is like after seeing God perform so much on our behalf we throw ourselves back into the state of unbelief of our worldly disposition. Many times to our shame we too are speaking and acting very ignorantly in His presence in doubt and unbelief.
As with the Old Covenant bride we too many times forget to recognize that every impossibility and every wilderness is an opportunity for Him to demonstrate His own glory and we steal these opportunities from Him to be glorified in our midst by our doubts which are the by product of our human prideful state of unbelief.
Here With these words I want to finish my sermon today praying that God will give us a breakthrough by believing in His faithfulness in bringing forth His truth in our minds and hearts.
This is the word for us today that as the prophet Malachi says in the end of chapter 3 and the beginning of chapter 4, in the last days there will be a true spiritual reckoning and that God will do a quick work of restorative personal revival through grace.
That as the day is approaching which will burn like an oven the proud and all who do wickedly, God has a hand raised for His own remnant elect, who by faith will Passover the ignorance of the unstable and unbelieving .
That God Who knows the heart of men will be rewarding His righteous faithful servants.
The righteous who trust in Him by faith.
And the words of Malachi 4:2 will come to pass in these final days that says……
“But to you who fear My name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; and you shall go out and grow fat like stall fed calves.
You shall trample the wicked, for hey shall be ashes under the soul of your feet. On that day I do this .”
