Gideon God’s Chosen vessel!

12

One of the most profound mysteries of God’s method of deliverance is unveiled in the life of this chosen vessel of God. A historical story of a young man through whom the Lord brought glory to His name. A very familiar passage of the scripture spoken about in many occasions. “Gideon” a very simple man of no great reputation, through whom the Israel of God was delivered from the hand of her most fierce enemy the Midianites. In this very interesting story we read many amazing concepts of God’s spiritual strategies being unveiled through His dealings with Israel and His faithfulness towards them, even in the midst of their worst periods of apostasy. Studying this passage of the ...Read More...

I AM THE TRUTH

12

Today let us look into another one of our Lord’s proclamation of His deity. A very sensitive declaration about Himself which would rise up contentions among the unregenerate men, especially the Jews of His day. A threefold pronouncement of His sixth I AM’s that brings us another dimension of His eternal Godhead. We being the Church are getting so used to these words that in our hearing they seldom lose their intended purpose. As we spoke last week these were revolutionary speech back then, even today in some countries around the world, but to the Church unfortunately they have lost their relevance. Jesus spoke of Himself being “THE”  “TRUTH”. Just like today many are ...Read More...

Understanding of God’s love for us!

12

Understanding of God’s love for us is an incredible comfort that is only found in the revelation of His Son in our hearts. A very difficult truth grasped in any other way. Upon our physical birth the nature of sin forbids us to comprehend the supernatural truths about God and in it is hidden the greatest need we all have and that is to understand the depth of His love which is called the Agape or the unconditional love of God. Our sin and shamed based nature due to the Adamic rebellion has its own fallen understanding about love, but God’s love remains a mystery until it is revealed in us through His Son’s sacrificial death upon the cross of Calvary. God’s unconditional and ...Read More...

Life of God

12

One of the most profound announcements of Christ Jesus about Himself is found in the 14th chapter of the gospel of John. Here Jesus our Lord breaks the greatest news about His deity. A threefold pronouncement of His sixth I AM’s. Many of us Christians read over these scriptures very casually and being a follower and a believer take very little heed in the deep divine truth hidden in these words. Although in the very first few verses Jesus established these divine truths about Himself, but in them is hidden the great treasure of His heavenly wisdom. He speaks thing which to a carnal man they are blasphemes and impossible to be grasped by his own understanding. Also in them is hidden ...Read More...

A blood donor saved my life so now what do I do

12

Jesus Christ through His shed blood saved us from eternal damnation and Hell’s condemnation. But now what? Many stop right here and live very careless lives in regards to their new found identity. We are very joyful upon our salvation, but many times easily forget the price of our redemption and how to maintain this gift in our daily walk till we meet the Lord either through death or in rapture of the Church. As you all know many times our outlook on our Christian life after our salvation is very casual. The first century Church and our Church fathers did not see their salvation the same way. Remember Mary Magdalena how she was anxious to follow her Master, Teacher unto His grave? She ...Read More...

Our God is a personal God

12

Dear Children we know by now that our God is a merciful God. Like none other He is full of tender mercies and always long suffering and kind towards us not wanting anyone to perish. He is not only our Father in a plural sense, but that He is also a personal God with compassionate care towards each one of us. In His covenants He remains faithful to all His righteous decrees and always guiding us “His remnant elect” through the advices of His Holy Spirit. He never changes in His attributes of love and care. In His New Covenant He sent us His Holy Spirit to guide and direct us in all His ways, and in His sovereignty He always seeks to find those who would be willing to be led by Him in ...Read More...
