The death in Haran

12

The death in Haran means the following… God moves when we are not ready to move. As we read earlier God had called Abraham to leave all His familiar surroundings and move unto an unknown land of God’s choice, yet Abraham in his journey to this promise land had stopped in a land called Haran, which by the way was the name of one of his brothers, who died in Ur before they came to Haran. Though they had probably named his brother Haran before they ever came to this land, yet his father Terah decided to stay in Haran where his son was named and even grieve over his son’s death for a long time. However this partial obedience of our father of faith could not nullify God’s call ...Read More...

The essence of true worship

12

True worship is the foundation of our faith. This heavenly act starts in the center of one’s being and is motivated by an awakening that is brought to us by God Himself. No man or woman is able to ignite this kind of an urge for obedience to God by themselves. The Bible says Jesus Christ our Lordhad to pass through Samaria and in doing so He stopped at Jacob’s well, which was in Sychar. This heavenly rendezvous must have been the essence of the future worship that began in the heart of this one woman. A social outcast maybe or a person completely estranged from the common wealth of Israel. The Bible says it was at noon time when Jesus sat there at the well waiting for this specific ...Read More...

Knowing the God that Sees

12

One of the most incredible attributes of God is His omni presence and the fact that He is not a God far away, but a God who is present in our midst and that He sees and hears everything that goes on in and around us. This truth is too wonderful to grasp in many circles, even in this dispensation of grace within His Church. Today we need to identify with His name that introduces Him as Jehovah Shammah. A name that identifies His presence in our lives, in our conversations and all our doings. In all the prophetic scriptures of the Old Covenant readings we see that the Lord points to this age of grace where He would come and would tabernacle with His people by living in them and in their ...Read More...

By your patience possess your souls!

12

Luke 21:19 A direct command from the Lord. In Luke’s gospel our Lord Jesus speaks of a magnificent truth in respect to attitude of our faith towards God. Here Jesus is saying in difficult times and in times of personal trials  and tribulations we need to hold unto our faith by  joyful expectation even if the answers of our prayers seems to be delayed. Our souls or in Greek our (Psuche) is the seat of our effections, our will, desire, emotions, mind, reason and understanding. Jesus here says keep on trusting God in your inner most being. Do not let the hope of your faith and joy of your expectancy to die down, because this part of us is that which brings God’s promises to pass ...Read More...

Secrets of the Unseen

1

There are many weapons formed against us the scripture says, but Isaiah the prophet reminds us that none of them shall prosper , because they are going to fail to kill those who are His servants and that is the inheritance of all who truly serve God, by obeying His truth at all times. Satan is out there with deadly spiritual weapons directed at us daily, yet the Lord has given us the assurance of our victory by staying in His truth at all times, even when we are least aware of them in the natural. He the Spirit of the Lordsees the unset of this weapons being formed in the dark. Unforgiveness is the number one Hidden weapon aimed to kill and destroy us spiritually and in the end to ...Read More...

The disciple’s call

12

The Disciple’s call Jesus said is the highest anyone can receive this side of heaven. Jesus declared this call is directly given to us through God the Father. The greatest qualifying quality is the Father’s call and second to it is the presence of the love of the truth in our hearts. “Love of the truth” This portion of the qualification for discipleship is the part we need to act upon by our free and perfect will. In the 21st chapter of John’s gospel Jesus asked three different times if Peter loved Him, and each by respond from Peter Jesus the Christ gave Him a new level of service in the form of discipleship. Finally Jesus asked the third time by saying “Peter do you ...Read More...

A remote Reality

SIN_RICH

The story of the sin of the rich man Lazarus is one of the stories that our Lord spoke to the Pharisees who were lovers of money. They looked upon wealth as a sign of His judgment as one being blessed in both worlds. They saw wealth and prosperity as signs of God’s approval and blessings, and poverty as a sign of God’s curse. This misconception in regards to God’s righteous judgment of man’s eternal destiny had fooled men for many generations, and even now it has infiltrated the Church of Jesus Christ. Men’s view of God and His judgments without the leading of the Holy Spirit is so defiled that it is very much against the truth that is in God alone. This has become a ...Read More...
