The Bible introduces Jesus Christ of Nazareth as the Wisdom of God

1

Many people in this side of heaven search for wisdom and some proclaim that they do posses this most valuable gift of all. However the scripture introduces Christ the Messiah of Israel as the Wisdom of God. A foolishness to the perishing, but the greatest of all gifts to the redeemed. The Bible declares that God’s measure of justice and  the level o His righteousness is matchless. This was all manifested in Christ. The scripture also declares that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. What does all this mean to us? In 1st chapter of 1st Corinthians Paul presents this argument in a very incredible way. He says it in this way… “ For since, in the wisdom of God the ...Read More...

It all started in heaven, but was spoken out here on earth by Job a suffering, yet just man in the eyes of the Lord !

11

( Job 9:32-33) Job a man whom the scripture calls a just man in the eyes of the Lord is the picture of all the true saints who suffer in this side of heaven for righteousness sake. This man in the midst of his own suffering is looking to be reconciled with his God. In Job chapter 9 in the midst of his suffering he is crying out to God who then seemed so far away from his predicaments. Job said to his accusing  friends in this way. “How can a man be righteous before God?”  ( Job 9:2) “ Though I were righteous, my own mouth would condemn me; Though I were blameless, it would prove me perverse”.( Job 9:20 ) The he says it again… “ I am blameless, yet I do not know myself; I ...Read More...

You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free

11

Freedom is the quest of every man’s soul. None of us like to be enslaved to anything. We seek freedom from the depth of our being, yet many times we are not aware that we our bond by something. Since we are children of Adam through birth we have a hidden quest for freedom in our hearts, this freedom is an unknown desire present in every soul. The unregenerate see this freedom in an independence from God in being self sufficient through a self centered existence. However the more they work for this independence it takes them to a greater amount of bondage to the principal of slavery that governs this fallen world. If you try to tell anyone that they are slaves by nature and not free men ...Read More...

Story of the uncompromising Righteous

11

Daniel, Shadrack, Meshach and Abednego were men who’s lives fully marked by this grace called the uncompromised righteousness. Men who said we trust in our God who would protect us out of the lions mouth by us staying faithful to Him and Him alone. Men for whom God shut the lion’s mouths to honor them for their uncompromising Faith in Him. Story of Queen Esther is another perfect demonstration of an uncompromised worship of one man named Mordeccai the Jew. A man who refused to bow down to any one, but the True and Only God of heaven and the earth. These are true events inscribed in the word of God to help us understand the sovereignty and greatness of God demonstrated in the lives ...Read More...

God’s Supreme Revelation

11

Revelation of  the deity of The Messiah Yeshua  ( Jesus the Christ )is the greatest revelation any man can receive during their pilgrimage in life. This supreme revelation of God about His anointed Savior stands as the most unshakable ground of any believers entire journey this side of heaven. Paul in instructing the young pastor Timothy places a great emphasis on this eternal truth by having him not to turn from the doctrine he first came to believe in. ( 1 Timothy 4:14-16). The Author of the book of Hebrews in the first few chapters of his letter expands on this truth like no one else I believe. The Lord totally breaks every doubt in the hearts of those  who would dare question the ...Read More...

The Faith, Which carries us beyond the grave

faith

Many of us  unfortunately see the extent of our faith only in this life and here is where arises one of the most vicious cycles of disappointment and despair. On the road to Emmaus  two men were walking in despair. These were disappointed in their God who left them with a dead Messiah in a cold tomb by the garden of their hopes. Two men with shattered dreams in their earthly mindedness were too estranged from the mystery of their hope. These were to be the travelers of hope.  They were grieved and burdened, because their hope in God was only based on this side of the tomb. They saw Christ only as a great prophet a man sent by God and not the true hope of the eternal life. However ...Read More...

The Tree of Life “ Source of eternal existance.”

sermon

The quest of man’s heart from the Garden of Eden has been to reach the Tree of Life. This is to avoid death in all its forms, physical and spiritual. To this blessed end all men strive, but Jesus Christ said I AM the Way, and The Truth  and The Life. Here the Lord brought a whole new concept of this existance to a lost world. The long awaited Jewish Messiah unveiled a great mystery kept by God the Father to all who have been His elect to receive sight in His Son from eternity past to eternity future. This is our subject of discussion this afternoon.  How can an earthly sinful man attain this great gift of God ? In man’s willful transgression from the commandment of God ...Read More...
