Seeing through the brightness Of His light

322

Seeing through brightness of His light is the subject of our meditation today. When the Lord our God found one man whom He could confine the heavenly truth of His eternal plan and purpose, He revealed His Son in Him and that man’s name is Avram who later on was called Avraham (Abraham). This is the man I want to speak about this day. The Bible calls him the father of all faithful and a man who saw through the brightness of His glory the dimension that was rejected by majority. The Bible in the New Covenant writings of Hebrews 11:10 says “For Abraham waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder or (Architect) and maker is God. This very basic principal of faith in him ...Read More...

Dangers of Spiritual Shortsightedness unto Blindness

121

As we studied just recently in the letter of Apostle Peter we are all at times endangered by many perils while walking in the wilderness of this life, but one of the greatest of these is not trusting the Lord at His spoken word to us. The first chapter of the book of Deuteronomy is an awesome example of such unbeleif on behalf of Israel of God at mount Horeb. This awe inspiring story of God’s excellent power to save and deliver His people gives us a clear picture of Who really He is for us, but within its context we see how men of earthly mindedness can destroy their own destiny by rejecting Him through disobedience. In this chapter of the Holy Scriptures the Lord shows us His ...Read More...

An uncommon commodity called the “Fear of the Lord”

12

When Israel was lead by Moses to leave Egypt they had not been directly associated with “The Lord” for 400 years and their understanding of God was based on the false god’s of Egypt. The journey led by Moses who brought the children of Israel was extremely challenging.  In this divine route to the freedom The God of the Hebrews had to teach them His reverential fear and this was accomplished by many dramatic signs and wonders. The Awesomeness of His presence was demonstrated through many great miracles even through many individual and corporate acts of mercy and chastisements From Moss’s call to the awesome acts of God demonstration of His mighty power, we are all ...Read More...

The Journey from the well to the Vine

65

The story of John chapter 4 is a perfect story of God predestined love and deep compassion for the lost. In this story we clearly see the heart of Christ in stopping to do His father’s will. The meeting is taken place on Jacob’s well and that at the hottest hour of the day. The Bible says it was about the sixth hour, meaning 12:00 noon. A time when the thirst of many will be in its highest form at this hour. Oh that He knows when our real thirst is at its highest. The picture is of a gracious God who goes where it is needed to any distance to quench the thirst of all who are called according to the election of grace, even to a Samaritan.   A nation mixed with gentiles brought back ...Read More...

The Mystery of a better resurrection

t5

Author of the book of Hebrews in chapter 11 touches another important aspect of our faith calling it a better resurrection. Before he lays this fact dawn in a Christian’s life, he gives a long list of Old Covenant Heroes of faith by describing their actions or their lives lived under the conviction of their faith. After he is finished with that he is saying, and all this was so they would obtain a better resurrection. What does he mean by this statement? Which is a better resurrection? We need to know that Adam and his race are destined to eternal separation from God and only through Christ (The spiritual Adam) we are promised eternal life with God. Now by coming to the initial ...Read More...

A reality many choose to ignore

11

In the Bible there are certain depth of God’s word that are often neglected by the majority, however serious cautionary reminders of a faithful and loving Creator is there to guide us all. It is ofcource very different than the voice of condemnation heard at times by the accuser of the brethren. This is the awesome voice of the precious Holy Spirit in the exercise of the gift of conviction we spoke last Sunday. The precious Holy Spirit is using the gift of God’s living word as a lamp onto our feet, that brings illumination to our daily walk in order to make us all walk in the light of His word to the end. Apostle Paul in the end of His journey of faith declared that he too needed ...Read More...
