Receiving Kingdom Power

zz4

The greatest promise given through Christ our Lord besides the promise of eternal life was the “Promise of the Father” which was the Promised Holy Spirit’s fullness which is being immersed or baptized in Him. The receipt of this promise required men to wait in Jerusalem and here a great test of patience was set before them all. As we read in the scriptures upon our Lord’s ascension 500 people were gathered upon Mount of Olives and of whom only a remnant waited for the promise of the Father and they numbered 120. The scripture in Acts chapter 2 speaks of this event in this way. When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, meaning the day of Jewish feast of Shavuot, which is ...Read More...

Virtue of Patience

One of the most incredible characteristics of God is the virtue of Patience. In the progress of sanctification the Lord works in us to establish this virtue within us all, and through this many receive their greatest resemblance to their master’s Heavenly Image. The Bible says “God is Patient”. In God’s Character refining test for Apostle Paul he went through many sufferings and in them God was working in His life to make him the man he was called to become. After his great revelations that he saw in being transported to the third heaven, Apostle Paul says a messenger of Satan was sent to buffet him and a thorn in the flesh was giving to him by God. In his appeal the word ...Read More...

Receiving Christ as our reconciliation

He is the perfect mediator who brings us to our greatest Shield and eternal inheritance with God. In such discovery Paul spoke to the straying believers in Galatia the following words. “For I through the Law died to The Law that I might live to God.” Galatians 319 Through the Law Paul received a consciousness of sin, but the law gave no power to overcome sin, therefore he turned from the Law as a means of acceptance with God. Upon a revelation from God Apostle Paul completely saw the eternal purpose of the Law and all its holy commandments that they were to bring us to Christ. This revelation made Paul a free man and through this he preached the gospel of peace and forgiveness to ...Read More...

At the blast of the last trumpet calls of God

Where would we stand in regards to our Christian Character and the work of our faith? Matthew 25:14-46 Matthew speaks of our Lord’s second coming and the rewards given in the kingdom for faithful service to Him. Character verses reputation is what the scale of the measurement of this reckoning would be. In Matthew the 25th chapter the Lord Jesus speaks of stewardship of all we have been trusted with in this life and, it is amazing that the parable speaks of the attitude of men’s heart towards their entrusted talents within the Kingdom. Each example in this chapter of the scripture speaks of men’s response to God’s calling. It is a complete picture of our Christian characters ...Read More...
