Who do the Crowds say that The Son of Man is?

12

Luke 9:18 A question that was asked by the Lord in Luke chapter 9 immediately after He had His disciples finish feeding the thousands. There was an amazing discovery in my understanding of this passage of the scripture today. Finally I saw the importance  of the timing of this very serious question within the chronological order of events. The spiritual intensity and the natural circumstances where  this question was posed by Him is very important, therefore let us ask God to reveal more of it’s significance to us through this sermon tonight The immediate questioning of His identity in  the estimation of the crowds is a very serious heart motivational unveiling of the truth that ...Read More...

They tell me I need to repent. What do they really Mean by it?

repent

Repentance is the key to all heavenly blessings and it sounds very harsh at times, yet it is a simple fact of turning from walking in  the wrong direction toward God. The basic term comes from changing from the mindset of the world to God’s intended life of the spirit for His elect. Repentance is a Godly gift and is motivated by love and not just fear. It is a change of heart caused by God’s love poured out on men and it always has a huge fruit attached to it. It is to shape man’s eternity to receive God’s bet for him including eternal life with God. This awesome move of God in the heart of man starts with true acknowledgement of sin and through it men are enlightened for seeing ...Read More...

Obtaining a better resurrection ( Heb. 11:35)

14

As we know our faith in Christ Jesus is based upon the resurrection a spiritual reality hidden from the unredeemed. Apostle Paul says in 1st Corinthians that if we do not believe in the resurrection of the dead then we are in a worst predicament than the unbelieving, since we are living our lives in the obedience of such a faith. Enoch who the Bible says walked with God must have had a hope of a better country than this one and his hope did materialize in his everyday life. He lived what he believed and it was not a myth to him. Resurrection is then the basis of our entrance to a new realm called the supernatural spiritual world of faith. Many altogether deny it’s truth and this ...Read More...

He shall be called A Nazarene

13

And he (Joseph) came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, “ He shall be called a Nazarene” Matthew 2:23 In prophet Zechariah’s prophecy in chapter 3 there is an awe inspiring story of spiritual cleansing of the priesthood by one Man Whom Zechariah is calling Him “The Branch” the same name Isaiah the prophet is calling the Messiah in Isaiah 11: 1 “ Then a shoot will spring from the stem of Jesse, and a Branch from His roots will bear fruit”. This double prophecy is fulfilled in Matthew 2:23, by Matthew’s proclamation of Him as   “ A Nazarene” or “ A Branch” . According to many Theologians ...Read More...

In light of His glory

12

On the great and awesome day of the Lord’s predestined visitation of His glory one man was thrown dawn from his earthly comforts of the life in the flesh to realize the existence of a much higher demand of the eternal realm of God’s glorious existence. We call this “ The Damascus” experience, meaning leaving the earthly for the heavenly truth. You see in Apostle Paul God fully demonstrated the end of an earthly prospective of the Kingdom to the heavenly one. One which our Messiah Yeshua ( Jesus) was addressing in all His teachings to His Jewish audience first and then to the Goyeim or the gentile nations. The principal of the Kingdom of heaven was an unknown mystery to men since ...Read More...

What is right is not always popular and what is popular is not always right

Genuine and true Christianity is one of the most unpopular religions in the world and why is this so? Christ Himself is the most spoken about man and yet He is the least liked of men among all the others? The true message of Christianity is the most offensive of all others and why? These are valid questions that need to be addressed in our midst tonight. The truth is that although many claim to be Christians, yet in a close up examination they are found nothing but a hypocrite and a liar. The Lord Jesus Who is The Truth knows all those who seek Him in a diligent manner. He understood one thing that His mission and the mission of His true followers would never be a popular message, since ...Read More...

Sovereignty and grace waiting At The Gate Beautiful

12

In the magnificent story of Acts Chapter 3 we read one of the most outstanding stories of Christ’s amazing grace poured out on a lame man who was brought by his friends to seat and beg outside of the gate beautiful of the Herod’s temple. The word says.. it was the ninth hour ( 3:00p.m.) when prayers were offered at the temple and this poor man who was paralyzed from birth was carried out there to beg. But this particular after noon the sovereignty of God had a different plan and purpose for him of which he had no foreknowledge or insight, yet His destiny was soon to be altered for eternity. What is profound here to me is the name of the Gate Beautiful. Although I am sure the name ...Read More...
